WARNING: These files are zipped together, but individually LHA compressed. I had to do rezip them because Geocities server doesn't accept .LHA files. Sorry, you'll have to uncompress them twice once downloaded!
You can also download the files directly from the WHDload Support Page, where you will also be able to download the WHDLoad package, required to install the games.
Aminet also has old versions of the installers it seems.
Installers require:
- WHDLoad and RawDIC to be in the path (C directory for instance), so they can be executed directly without specifying any path. Both can be found in the WHDLoad package.
- 0.5 MB ChipMem and 0.5 MB OtherMem.
If you have an Amiga with memory expansion, you might experience some trouble with the installers. I met "DOS ERROR #235 - bad loadfile hunk" when trying to launch Damocles for instance. Then simply disable the fast RAM by clicking once on the NoFastMem icon in you Workbench System folder. This solved the problem for me. Clicking again on it brings back the FastMem.
Saved games: they are stored on HD. The Damocles installer has a program allowing you to install your saved games from floppy disk to hard drive. This means you will be able to install the two Damocles Mission Disks, too! Be careful though, since only one set of saved games can be used, create backup directories to stores each set of saved games you are not using before installing new ones.

Notes from the Mercenary Site: installer untested yet - it failed to install my strange Mercenary version from Edos, and another orignal (but I'm not sure the disk works).
Apparently, you can't install your saved games from floppy disk.

version 1.2 (29.07.2004) by Wepl:
- install script fixed
- several docs added
- support for second version added again (was dropped by Graham)
- some cleanup and minor fixes
Notes from the Mercenary Site: installer tested and partially working at the moment: I got a graphic bug when flying. Other reports are welcome, since it seems this installer is a complicated one. Thanks to Wepl for his patience and fixing the previous release. It seems the saved games can't be installed on hard drive from a floppy disk - see above for details, as well as potential error messages.
The game works fine on Amiga 1200 now!
