This is a project I started long ago, and I've been working on it seriously since 2003.
The Goal is to transfer to PC old Oric ORIGINAL tapes:
- converting the program so it can be run on an Oric emulator
- scanning the box, docs and tape labels at 300 dpi
- doing a global picture of the tape ("GL" column)

If you own tapes, manuals, anything that is requested here or not in the list, then you can contribute. Just send me en email with you name and list. People lend me tapes; I transfer them and send them back with a CD holding all the transfers I've done so far.
Of course you have to know I'm working on this on my spare time, which is usually a few hours every 15 days. So if you send lots of tapes, the process can be long before I send the tapes back. Voici un projet sur lequelle je travaille depuis longtemps, et plus particulièrement depuis 2003.
Le but est de transférer sur PC des cassettes Oric ORIGINALES:
- convertir fidèlement le programme pour qu'il fonctionne sur un émulateur Oric
- scanner la boite, les manuels et les cassettes à 300 dpi
- faire une photo d'ensemble (colone "GL")

Si vous possédez des cassettes, des manuels, tout ce qui n'est pas dans la liste ou qui est noté manquant, alors vous pouvez participer. Il suffit de m'envoyer un email avec votre nom et la liste de ce que vous possédez. Le principe est simple: les gens me prêtent leurs cassettes, je fais le transfert et les scans, et je renvoie le tout accompagné d'un CD contenant l'intégralité de mes transferts.
Bien sûr, vous devez savoir que je ne travaille sur ce projet que pendant une partie de mon temps libre; concrêtement quelques heures tous les 15 jours. Donc en cas de prêt, il peut s'écouler pas mal de temps avant que je renvoie les cassettes. Mais ne vous en faites pas, je n'ai jamais volé personne ;-) Renseignez-vous simplement au sein du monde Oric, beaucoup de gens m'ont prêté des cassettes: Jean B.
